PROJECT FONTS

Being that this magazine had a lot of interviews with comic artists from the Midwest, this was WAY out of my comfort zone. Having to reach out to people, set up times and places to talk to them and conduct a recorded interview was definitely new and uncomfortable for me, but well worth it. I got to meet amazing people who were kind and willing to let me see their workspaces as well as give me the time of day to learn more about them.

One of my favorite parts of this project was creating the mascot characters for each of the comic eras. They all were meant to be inspired by the eras, having features, design traits, and illustrations that mimicked the era they are 'from'.
